Checkers Anyone?

Tyler has learned the game of checkers and he LOVES playing it. He will play it over and over and over and over......you get the picture.

Charlie and I celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary ( I know it's crazy isn't it?) this weekend by going and seeing our favorite band......Rascal Flatts! We had great seats on the floor but just a little advice for those who are challenged in the height area.....wear platforms! It was an amazing show and we did get pretty close to them as there was a second stage right next to us. We got some pretty bad pictures on Charlie's camera phone for my proof that we were there because I actually read the ticket before going in and it said no cameras....... I think my ticket was the only one that said that because there sure were a lot of cameras there! I don't know how I am going to get those off and actually looking good enough to go in a scrapbook? Anyway, we had a very nice weekend together and are looking forward to 15+ more years together.

Today's game was another good one for Tyler. He started out down on himself for striking out at his first up to bat. We gave him his pep talk and then WOW did he do great. He made three great plays - two outs at third by stopping the ball then tagging the runner. During another inning he threw it in from center field to second base for another OUT! He earned himself the game ball today!

After getting those plays under his belt then he calmed down at the plate and did his usual best......

With an extra special fan cheering him on from the stands....

Well, Fall baseball has officially begun and it is GREAT! Tyler is hitting off of a pitching machine and doing really well......with a triple and a double in the game bringing in 3RBI's! His team was down 8-3 in the last inning and came back to win it 10-8. He was so proud!
