Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to Mimi and Papa's for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time! We ate, played games and hung out. We had so much fun I forgot to take pictures!

Tyler helped out with some of the cooking by "smashing" some oreo cookies for a crust for some chocoloate cheesecake.....yummy!
Papa does most of the cooking on Thanksgiving and it is delicious.
And the boys hung out watching the game until it was time for the food!

The Culprit!

We found out today that Tyler is allergic to our cat! We have been battling allergies for over a year now and it is so releiving to know what it is. Now we just have to remove her from his environment......soooooo if anyone needs a cat here she is!

Happy Birthday Grandaddy!

Grandaddy turned 83 last Thursday and we all went over to celebrate with some KFC and some cake....he was tickled that we all were there!

Happy Halloween

Tyler is still fascinated with Spiderman....we thought he was moving on into Star Wars but that soon faded right back into......Black Spiderman.

Even Daddy got in on some of the action!
TRICK OR TREAT!!!!!

I know it is a little late but here are some Halloween pics.....we got to go door to door for the first time with our friends the Butler's. It was Tyler's first "Trick or Treat" adventure and he knew what to do!

Boldness of a child

My son amazes me daily in so many ways but yesterday was awesome. We were driving home from school and he asked me "Mommy after you get baptised and you do something wrong do you go to Hell?" I said no, if you do something wrong then you need to ask the Lord for forgiveness and never do it again. Then as I cringed I said "What did you do?" "Nothing, but are you sure you don't go to Hell?" He asked again. I am sure Tyler.....what happened? My friend did something wrong today at school and he was sad. He wanted to pray so I prayed with him and this is what I said..."Lord please make him not do it again, give him another chance, he's sorry don't be mad at him" Then we got back in line and went outside to play. No fear, no shame, no questioning...just prayed! I asked him if his teacher saw this and he said yes and she cried. Amazing! Although Tyler is in public school this year which was a difficult decision for us, this is a huge payoff. His teacher is a christian and she was touched to see this show of compassion for another student. I couldn't express it enough to Tyler how proud I was of him.
What an awesome way to end my day!
